Studio 108 Reformer Foundations
Step into the Studio 108 Reformer Foundations classes, thoughtfully designed for those new to the Reformer who are looking for more than just an introduction to Pilates.
This four-class series is an opportunity to discover how your body is designed to move—and why that understanding can change everything.
Over four classes, you'll explore the essential principles, movements, and transitions that define the Studio 108 approach. Guided with precision and intention, you'll build towrd more core strength, improve alignment and body awareness, and develop confidence on the Reformer.
Our goal isn't simply to teach you the exercises—it's to teach you how your body works.
Studio 108 Reformer Foundations is rooted in the Pilates Principles: Breathing, Concentration, Control, Centering, Precision, and Flow. You'll learn how to apply these principles in your movement and discover why they make such a difference.
Using many traditional (classical) Pilates exercises, you'll experience the essence of the Pilates method while learning movement patterns that create a strong foundation for everything that follows.
You'll learn not just how to perform each exercise, but why you're doing it.
When you understand how your body is designed to move, everything begins to change. Everyday movements become easier. Exercise becomes more effective. You stop relying on the wrong muscles and begin moving with greater strength, balance, and confidence.
As your body awareness sharpens, your movement becomes more fluid and efficient. You'll develop a stronger, more connected core, better posture, improved balance, and the confidence that comes from moving with purpose and control.
Reformer Foundations is the perfect introduction to our leveled Reformer classes. Each class offers a supportive environment where you can move, explore, ask questions, and connect with your body in a whole new way.
